Words of Power -1

RockYou FXText

(Old KJV 2nd Peter1:2-11)

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity (love). For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

(Add to Faith Virtue, Virtue to Knowledge, Knowledge to Temperance, Temperance to Patience to godliness to Brotherly kindness to Love.)

2nd Corinthians 3:18 - But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Romans 8:28-29- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Ephesians 4:11-13- And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

Isaiah 51:1- Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn(cut), and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.

1st Peter 5:6 - Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

Job 8:7 - Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.
Philemon 1:6- That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

“There’s an eye that never sleeps beneath the wing of night
There’s an ear that never shuts when sink the beams of light
There’s an arm that never tires when human strength gives way
There’s a love which never fails when earthly love decay !”
-He is Jesus
